Walmart Beauty Box Fall Review

walmart beauty box review

Hey guys! Sorry this video is a little late – I filmed it almost a month ago when I  was wrapped up in the final days of NaNoWriMo.

Anyway, my fall Walmart Beauty Box came! I was a little skeptical since it was $5 and Walmart isn’t always #1 in quality. I was so surprised by how AWESOME this box was that I HAD to make a video. If you don’t have time to watch, check out the description below

L’oreal Anti-Aging Serum ???

I have no idea what this was. My mother-in-law wanted it and I didn’t think to write down the product name before she took it. Whatever it was, she liked it.

Burt’s Bees Milk & Honey Lotion

I’m a huge Burt’s Bees fan. Like all of their other products I’ve tried, it smells nice, it’s moisturizing without being greasy, and it’s cruelty-free. Love it!

Vaseline CocoaRadiant Lotion

This lotion is smooth and unscented. The bottle they sent was HUGE (3 oz.) for a sample size, and I’m planning to carry this one in my purse all winter long.

Dove Body Wash

Meh…I ended up giving this one away. The fake orange smell was too unpleasant for me. I like dove quality, but the more I use essential oils and natural products, the more aware I become of when things don’t smell or feel real.

Sally Hansen Leg Makeup

I don’t do tanning of any kind, including tanning lotions. I love being pale. However, I have a lot of friends who like to tan, and I advocate using lotions as a safer alternative to UV exposure. I gifted this to my sister-in-law. I tested a little on my hand, and the tint is very subtle, so no worries about turning fakey orange!

Village Naturals Therapy Muscle Relief Mineral Bath Soak

This mineral bath soak contains spearmint, eucalyptus, and menthol and uses real essential oils. The packet they sent has enough for two baths.

Aveeno Pure Renewal Shampoo + Conditioner (Sulfate-free)

Excited to try this (review to come!) sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. I’ve had less-than-great experiences with sulfate-free hair products before, but since I don’t like to use damaging products in my hair, I’ll give this sample a chance. They sent .3 oz packets, and since my hair is still short, I should get 2-3 washes out of it.

I’m so impressed with the things they sent and the “sample” sizes, which are much bigger than I thought they’d be!

Wow, I actually had no idea Walmart had beauty boxes! That’s pretty cool though, and seems it includes some cool products. Cheap too!
Might have to check it out. Thanks for sharing!
