Ulta is one of the most dangerous stores I can set foot in or visit online this time of year. There are so many good sales, new products, and gift sets. Luckily, a lot of people know I love Ulta, so I often get makeup items or gift cards as stocking stuffers.
Here are 10 items from Ulta that are at the top of my 2017 Christmas Wishlist. There’s a nice mix of high-end and drugstore brands, so if you’re looking for a little inspiration for the makeup addict on your shopping list, check these out!

#1. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush
I got a sample of this Amazonian clay blush in my November 2017 Ipsy bag and I’m in love. This blush is pigmented, easy-to-apply, and natural looking. The little sample they sent me goes everywhere with me in my purse, but I’d love to have full-size products in a few shades to keep on my vanity at home.
#2. Nyx Lingerie Liquid Lipstick
I actually already own one of these liquid lipsticks that I picked up in the Ulta store the last time I was there. I love the formula – creamy, non-drying, and it lasts FOREVER as long as you give it a few minutes to dry before you eat or drink anything. There are a few variations on the Lingerie line of liquid lipsticks, but the ones that come in a bunch of nude colors are my favorites. You can never have too many matte lipsticks!
#3. Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Primer
I’ve actually only tried a few Benefit Cosmetics products, but I’m always up for trying a primer that claims to minimize my ginormous pores. I’ve heard great things about this one and since I tend to go drugstore on primers, it would be fun to try something a little more high-end.
#4. L’Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation
I use this one in the “glow” formula a few times a week, but I’d really like to have the matte version too. It’s a medium-coverage foundation that feels like light coverage. My favorite thing about it is how natural and NOT-cakey it looks.
#5. Too Faced I Want Kandee Eyeshadow Palette
This palette wasn’t in the Ulta store on my last visit, so I’m wondering if it’s only available online now. Either way, I really want to try out these fun colors!
#6. Essence Pure Nude Highlighter
I go through phases with makeup, in which I’m obsessed with one type of makeup for awhile and decide to buy like 10 of them from different brands, even though I really only need one or two. I just like trying different products! Right now, I’m all about the highlighters. Even though I am obsessed with the Megaglo highlighters from Wet n Wild and just splurged on Black Friday for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild palette, everyone says that this Essence highlighter is cheap and gorgeous. Want.
#7. EOS Lip Balm Holiday Set
EOS is one of my favorite lip balm brands and I’m obsessed with the flavors in this holiday set: Peppermint Mocha, Vanilla Bean, and Sparkling Ginger.
#8. Urban Decay Naked 4Some Eyeshadow Palettes
I’ve been putting off buying the Naked palettes, even though I know they’re awesome, because they’re sooo expensive and there are a ton of affordable dupes for these. But this 4some set with all of them is really tempting.
#9. Tarte Magic Star Collector’s Set
The Magic Star Collector’s Set from Tarte not only has a ton of pretty eyeshadow shades in the Amazonian clay formula I love, but it comes with blush, mascara, liner, lipstick…a taste of everything from Tarte. I’d love to have this massive palette in my collection.
#10. Too Faced Pretty Little Planner & Best Year Ever Eyeshadow Palettes
As a planner girl who loves to organize and hoard planners, calendars, agendas, and notebooks, I love the idea of these New Year, New You-themed makeup/planner sets. The Pretty Little Planner set is all usable, but colorful eyeshadows that I would wear every day, while the Best Year Ever set comes with three neutral palettes for any occasion.
