I have fallen deeply into the world of Project Pan challenges. If you don’t know about Project Pan, check out my original post, in which I decided to try it out by using up 10 products from January to July.

That started out really well and was a lot of fun, so I decided to join a few Facebook groups that focus on panning and different “projects” with various themes or goals to help makeup lovers pan more. My favorite is #PANtastic Ladies Collabs, where they do themed challenges seasonally and yearly – definitely check them out if you want to get into some fun panning projects!

After reading about their different projects and collaborations, I got a little ambitious and chose 3 other projects to try out:

  1. 7 Deadly Pans – January 2018 to July 2018
  2. A-Z – January 2018 to December 2018
  3. Skin is In – January 2018 to December 2018

I’ll also be doing my own 10 Before December challenge between July 2018 and December 2018 and the #PANtastic Ladies Harry Potter & the Pan of Fire project starting in June. Trust me, I’ve bought enough makeup in the last year to have PLENTY to use up.

I’m crazy, right?! Maybe I’m being too ambitious. Seriously, the panning world is almost as addicting as buying makeup (but much easier on my wallet)!

I haven’t made video intros for these projects, but I will be doing monthly updates here, on Instagram, and on YouTube, so be sure to follow and subscribe!

If you would like to see more photos or videos talking about the products I chose for these projects, please let me know in the comments below! Read on for the full list of what I’m trying to pan this year.

7 Deadly Pans

For this challenge, we had to choose a product for each of the 7 Deadly Sins – based on color, product name, or anything else. I chose:

Lust >> Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner Pencil in Perversion

Gluttony >> Too Faced PB & J Palette with the goal of using up the shade Peanut Butter

Greed >> Freeman Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Clay Mask (because I greedily bought EVERY Freeman mask at Ulta in November)

Sloth >> CoverGirl Clean Matte BB Cream (because I use this on days when I feel lazy about putting on makeup)

Wrath >> The Ulta black pencil liner I got in my Black Friday gift set (which makes me FURIOUS to use because it’s so damn difficult to work with!)

Envy >> BECCA First Light Priming Filter (because I envied how great it made KathleenLights look)

Pride >> Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glowkit highlighter in the shade Pink Heart (because I was SO proud to have gotten something from ABH 1/2 priced at Ulta)

This challenge is pretty self-explanatory: you pick a product for each letter of the alphabet and try to use it up within the year.

A >> Apres Beach wave & shine spray from Oribe

B >> Brown felt tip liquid liner from Ulta

C >> OGX Coconut Curls shampoo

D >> Donkey Milk sleeping mask from SOO AE

E >> e.l.f. mineral infused primer in brightening lavender

F >> Freeman avocado & oatmeal clay mask

G >> Gloomy Days Palette from Nyx in the dark gray shade

H >> Hempz Triple Moisture Herbal Lip Balm

I >> Intensive Care CocoaRadiant lotion from Vaseline

J >> Julep Love Your Face Hydrating Face Cleansing Oil sample

K >> Manna Kadar Step 1 Primer

L  >> Lip Lingerie from Nyx in Corset

M >> Maybelline Superstay Foundation

N >> Nyx HD Finishing Powder

O >> Obliphica Seaberry Serum mini sample

P >> Photo Focus Foundation from Wet n Wild

Q >> Quilted cotton rounds (one pack)

R >> Rose Gold Nail Polish from OPI

S >> Shea Butter body butter from Tree Hut

T >> Translucent HD loose finishing powder from Naked Cosmetics in a deluxe size

U >> Ulta Baked Bronzer

V >> Vice Lipstick from Urban Decay in Amulet

W >> Watery Cream from Tonymoly

X >> Nyx (the only X I could come up with!) Warm Neutrals Palette in one of the reddish shades

Y >> Pacifica Glow Baby Youth Salvation Walnut Scrub

Z >> Zodiac Palette from BH Cosmetics in the shimmer shade for Scorpio

Skin is In

The #PANtastic Ladies left this one open to interpretation. My goal for 2018 is to use up $300 in skincare products, which include cleansers, moisturizers, creams, serums, masks, scrubs and body lotions. Some of these products overlap with my other projects.
